Hello, friends! Building on the idea of Billy and the AK-47 film from last week, I will share the script today, as I indicated in my previous post. GTA has a fascinating plot and a free and open gameplay mode. The in-game objects and elements are detailed. Not only does it increase player immersion, but it also gives us a part to play in the game’s criminal world and commit multiple crimes. As the game’s objectives involve things like robbing banks and killing people, among other things, we chose to follow this concept but create our own plot to convey our message.
As you can see, we began by telling the audience up front that Billy’s wife was murdered. To guide the audience into the storyline and inform you of what happened in the middle, we utilize the production mode of The Expository to edit and have a Narrator do the narration throughout the film, as you can see in the screenplay. Some supporting characters like Robbers, Jake, and Simeon, Billy’s supervisor, are portrayed and spoken in the middle. Also, even though Billy’s wife Sandy passed away, she still has a role in this movie, which is a benefit of the expository mode. Even if the main character has passed away, we can still employ this technique to have her present in this piece by looking back in time. While Billy felt the impulse to kill Robbers since they murdered his wife, we want to inform everybody that killing is illegal and should never be done, so we chose Billy being arrested by the police as the film’s last scene.
Remember that a compelling storyline must be told in three parts: the setup, the confrontation, and the resolution. Setup is the motivation that serves as the starting point for the story; Confrontation is the growth that involves more characters and spreads the narrative, causing the plot to transform and cause problems; and Resolution is the ending, where failure or success must have an outcome. In Billy and The AK47, we used weapon sequences to draw you into the story before gradually moving on to the narrative. Then, during the climax, we employed the pursuit sequences to enhance the suspense and intensity. Even though the film’s ending might not be what you were hoping to see, it still has an emotional impact and the power of love, giving you a rich experience. I do hope you’ll enjoy viewing it!
