Greetings to everybody! Welcome to Smile Host Dream’s portfolio website. I am currently a university student majoring in Media Arts, and I plan to use this site to share the short films I have produced in the past and reveal the whole process. Especially in some works, I encountered the outbreak of the covid epidemic and how I overcame it and found a solution will also share it with you. One of the most significant purposes of a screenplay is that the viewer doesn’t become bored. Additionally, the movie should show the problems that led to the characters’ conditions and their current status.

Why do I highlight the “short” films?

The benefits of learning to shoot or edit a short film for a beginner like myself include that it is more straightforward for the audience to watch. The audience’s opinion on the message presented in the video is simple to obtain and clear to comprehend completely. It forced me only to keep the essential images and eliminate the rest. This can help the editor learn how to choose and filter the shots effectively. Additionally, short films can move the narrative faster without the plot becoming tedious, allowing the audience to enjoy themselves or be inspired immediately.

Cost is undoubtedly another factor. Both shooting and editing require time and labor resources. The longer it takes, the more shots there are. As a result, a reasonable budget is essential for young individuals like me. However, the purpose of the video should be to communicate the message, not its length, and it should allow the viewer to understand what the editor is trying to convey completely.
